Funny how life works. It can bring us the best surprises when we least expect it. A few weeks before meeting today’s guest on my online show Real Life Mechanics, it felt as if life kept on poking me by saying that he was someone I should cross paths with.

I started seeing more frequently his face in the most random places (coffee shops), posters highlighting his upcoming event presented by It’s Time To Bloom at McDougall United Church for his evening lecture, then the Westin Hotel the next day for his workshop, here in Edmonton, AB, Canada. On top of that, the event so happened to be hosted by fantastic and inspiring human-beings I happened to know: Robindra & Myrah, founders of It’s Time To Bloom. This couldn’t just be some random coincidence.

The face was that of Neale Donald Walsch, author of Conversations with God – Watch video below.

Was I meant to meet him? If so, why? I had no idea why  but was open to see where me trusting my inner-voice would lead me, even if I didn’t necessarily knew why my attention kept on being directed to this man.

Finally, I decided that I would simply not ignore, trust, and surrender to my inner-voice. Ever been in this situation? I decided then to simply reach out to Robindra and offer to support, in anyway I could, his promoting of the event and help out during the event.

Little did I know this chain of events would not only lead me to have such an inspiring and uplifting conversation with Robindra & Myrah (stay tuned for their upcoming interview), but also be introduced to Neale Donald Walsch and his take on spirituality.

So today’s guest on Real Life Mechanics is Neale Donald Walsch, New York Times best-selling author of the Conversations with God series.

We ended up covering:

  • The fundamental questions we should all ask ourselves in order to have fulfilling, purposeful, and intentional lives.
  • The relevance of having a conversation with God.
  • How much impact our spiritual rituals have in our ability to grow spiritually.

Neale’s work has a transformative and profound effect on the lives of those he touches and I invite you to get a glimpse of his perspective on life and spirituality in this video:

Now, Neale and I would love to hear from you:

What was your biggest take away, insight, aha (!) moment, you got from our conversation? What resonated with you the most? Is there anything that you can start implementing right away in your life?
